[OUTFIT] Leopard Lovin'

It's always emotional when something ends. Yesterday, a small part of my high school life ended. It was my last swimming carnival. As the seniors of the school, we were obligated to dress up, under the theme of "Strange and Eclectic". This did not come easily to me as most of my wardrobe consists of classical black, white, red and navy combinations (with pops of colour in between).

I had a multitude of ideas that I could do, but was limited by the amount of time I had. (Note to self: never leave important things like costumes to the last minute). So, when I was just strolling around for inspiration, I stumbled across a rainbow coloured leopard bikini top I knew instantly that it was a must-have. The bikini top became my inspiration for the rest of my outfit.

During this shoot, it really hit me just how hard self-shooting is. No matter where I put the camera, I couldn't get rid of the white base wall. The lighting was so tough to manipulate and I was constantly interrupted by my family walking up and down the stairs. Also, the stairs made it hard to find a good angle (as well as the fact that I was so exposed). In the end, I decided to film parts of it, and then go frame-by-frame to find a good shot.

I also realised that despite my leopard-y day, I don't own a single piece of clothing that is the actual orangey leopard print. I can be a unique leopard, I guess.
